Author Topic: What happened to Hammerhost?  (Read 1043 times)

I wanted to try out Hammerhost since ive seen some servers (like buttmans endless zombies) using Hammerhost and ive always wanted to host a server that isnt laggy as stuff.
And I cant find out where to get it, so what happened to it?
sorry if i sound really dumb here :(

It was canceled because the way hammereditor was running it was actually illegal.

that's absolutely hysterical

i knew it would blow up somehow but i thought he'd just get banned or something

No!
I've been hosting 5 beta testers for one month, but I never had the time to release on the planned date, because of debugging and other side-projects. I'm planning to publicly release HammerHost tomorrow.
The first phase of slots will start tomorrow, with 10 slots being released, and 2 clients being set up per day. The second phase will start in about 1 week after that, with 10 more slots.
I am not violating any cyber laws with my hosting service. Although it is home-hosted, I have business internet now.
Sorry for the large font, but I really thought it was necessary to dismiss these rumors.

I can vouch that HammerEditor's service is still very much alive.

Nothing happened to it...

Yeah, just 2 of my clients recently had more work to do in real life and became inactive.

why would HAMMER be banned? He never does anything wrong, his brother does

PS I might get a slot from you, IDK if I am going to

i expect him to attempt to cover up something in the worst possible way and self destruct somehow

like its not that he actively putters around getting into trouble but he seems like he would eventually cause, and then fail to actually stop his own trouble

-hugeass no-
I meant your previous one, I thought that was the one that he meant.

What about the time he pulled a DoS on RTB?

Hammer isn't done ddosing all the competitive hosts yet. He's doing well so far though.

To be entirely honest, between he and his brother, I don't even bother trying to keep track of which one has done the attacks and general stupidity. I just know Hammer is trying to start up a hosting service, and typically is a pretty nice guy.

If I had a legitimate reason to host, I would purchase his hosting service. That said, now that Yorktown plans to host a CRPG, I'm delaying work on my deathrun... Cause I absolutely love playing on York's CRPGs lol
But further down the line, I could be one of Ham's customers.
