Start menu in Windows 8? Magiiic.

BTW there are no problems with design choices in Linux because YOU design the whole thing. Especially in XFCE4 or KDE.

Because it matters so loving much which color the toolbars have when I don't even see them while working or playing a game.

What. What does color have to do with anything. I'm saying that you get to actually design how everything works. For example, maybe you want to have a unity-style list of applications, but you don't want it to be on the left or have that loving stupid dash menu. Using the XFCE panel system you could make something like that and then put it anywhere you want. You could even hide it off of the screen and then have it pop up when you mouse over the screen's edge. And while you're at it maybe you want a workspace switcher or a CPU monitor. You could do that too. Or maybe you want a Windows-style taskbar on the bottom, but you also want a gnome-style bar on the top? You could do that too. Pretty much anything that you want is possible.

(Relatively) Cheap and convenient > Free and hard-to-use (For the general population)

But you have no choice of which desktop environment you want. In Linux there's Gnome, XFCE, KDE, LXDE, Unity, etc.
And customization for Windows goes as far as choosing which side of the screen you want your taskbar on and if you want to auto-hide it or not. And you only get one by default. In order to get more, you need to download some weird-ass software from some corner of the internet.

Meh. If you want it to be convenient you should probably go with Windows, but I still prefer Linux for my own personal uses.

Oh and also, Ubuntu is pretty damn easy to use. It's so easy, that most Linux users say it sucks.

If you think that the reason experienced linux users think ubuntu sucks is because it's the easiest of the distros to use, then you really don't know much about it about it.

If you enjoy playing video games on your PC get Windows 7.

Also because of the Unity interface. I mean come on. It lags when you even open the menu. If that's not a good reason then I don't know what is.

And maybe a little because it tries to shove Ubuntu One in your face.

Linux is a very good option for gaming. Especially if your computer isn't very new. It's super lightweight and can run a bunch of windows games using Wine. (this includes Blockland)
