Author Topic: Windows, Windows, or Linux?  (Read 4098 times)

Hey guys, before you say that I'm trolling, because I use a Mac as well, I use a Dell Windows XP machine too, now that Windows XP's support has ended, I can't decide between sticking with XP, upgrading to Windows 7, or switching to a Linux distro (Debian or Ubuntu possibly.). My PC meets the requirements to run 7, and is just ready for a Linux distro, but it's also a pain in the ass to move files over to USB drives, CDs, and SD cards for me, I also don't want to spend 100 or something dollars on a 4 5 year old system. What should I choose?

or get a new computer?

Good idea, but would someone as young as this would be able to afford it?

looks like a linux user

I have my dad's Mac and my Windows. Honestly, I prefer Windows over Linux and Mac.

Get windows 8. It's overall faster, you can download things to get back the start menu, it looks better (at least IMO), plus it's a newer OS, so support will last longer if you don't plan on upgrading for a very long time.

Well, my PC can support it, so Windows it is.
