Couple Paint.net Questions

OK i have JUST started yesterday some where around then and i have a couple quetions
1.How do i trans it?(Azerath told me ingame but i forgot LOL)
2.For the big picture do i use 256x256 or 264x264?
3.How do i transfer it to the smaller picture and what size should it be?

Well thats pretty much it i hope someone can answer these

Edit:a fourth question is how can i transfer the normal face thats just like this sorta

1. Select the area somehow (Rectangle, circle, lasso, or wand) and then hit the Delete key.
2. 256x256. Powers of 2.
3. I forget. Period.

For 3, go to Image, then hit Resize, the size depends on what your making, what are you making? An item icon, a preview for a decal/face decal? What?

pretty much anything face decal...and chest im just working on those right now
