>I use different fonts and style's
>I sometimes use glow
Um
I can't really say that that is a good thing. IMO the way you use outer glow is just ugly. Not only that but one style and font looks good if executed properly.
>I also put love in it <3
Doesn't look like it. If you actually did put love in it, then you would:
> Not leave images in bad quality. (Ex. - Buttman and Slayer)
> Notice that text blends in with the background and is hard to read. (Ex. - Hongkongphooey, Buttman, Slayer)
> Notice that you cut off part of the image (Ex. - slayer. The sniper and the hat are cut off)
> Notice that the text is cut off by the borders of the image. (Ex. - Aceman, buddermaster9)
> Position the players properly in-game to get good lightning. For example, on Google's poster, the background is almost pitch black when the face is very, very bright. Or maybe atleast tweak a bit with the contrast in the Photoshop.
> Choose colors properly so that they won't blend in with each other. Pretty much on every picture you either hardly see the text, or the stroke/glow, on some it's also hard to distinguish the character and the background
So basically what I'm saying is that you didn't even try improving the image, everything looks so rushed.
>I place the text different and now on the boring same place
On JakeBlade's posters text is positioned properly and looks neat. In yours, on the other hand, the text looks like it was just thrown in, not only that but it's also cut off in some images.
EDIT:
>I use stroke's too You use little strokes or a gradient/glow, OR you use a black stroke. That only works if the background isn't black. Jake is using a color occlusion technique, white stroke on black text. This makes it clearer, easier to read, and in his case, more professional.
Yeah this too
