Author Topic: Windows Notepad  (Read 1006 times)

I've noticed that I basically use Notepad a stuffton.  Whenever I have an idea, or I want to type something out for brown townysis, or even just have a URL or quote I want to save but don't feel like bookmarking, I save it in a text file.  I just got to thinking about this and wondering how common it is.  Do most people keep huge collections of text files full of ideas and stray thoughts, or is it just me?

in exploring careers we're doing these series of quizzes on the computer, and they give us a mini-review of things we need to know before we go onto the quiz

me and my partner do the stuff on his computer, since the thing is fullscreen and it kills itself if you minimize out of it, and i write the handy stuff I need to know on notepad.

Pff. Get notepad++.
Thats more for coding, not writing things down...

notepad is terrible and hard to use :(

but yes i have a stuffton of my thoughts written down either in chat conversations with people where i just flood them with everything that comes in my head or in files in /d/misc/{filename}

I do this too, I do this for Pokemon teams, lists of things I plan to get, lists of things I may have to do, etc.

I do the same. Need to take notes in class, windowskey>"notepad">take notes>save in documents> have a stuffload of txt files that I forget which one has X notes.
