Also on people commenting on her stupid behavior: What would you do in the situation yourself?

Not claim to be part of a terrorist group and threaten to do something "big" to a large, tight-assed airline, for starters.

Well seeing as the terrorists who bombed the twin towers all had completely legitimate ID papers and tickets, I'd guess big performances of dedication.
Yes, and those big performances of dedication resulted in a terrorist attack. I guess I should rephrase my question: what other "big things" does Al-Qaeda do for American airlines that isn't related to terrorism?

This thread is spaghetti stuff brains autism.

It's just a 14 yo who just wanted to make a joke. She didn't even mention that the "big thing" she was going to do had anything to do with terrorism. Al-Qaeda members do other things besides killing people. There is literally no evidence that points towards her making a threat of blowing up a plane except maybe for the Al-Qaeda thing, which is wrong because she doesn't hide in a cave somewhere with other terrorists.

Also on people commenting on her stupid behavior: What would you do in the situation yourself? You're going to be arrested for a joke and your parents will know. You might never be able to use the internet because of this butthurt airline company that can't take a joke nor realize that no one who tries to sneak a bomb trough an airport security check will warn about it ahead of time.

This reminds me a lot of the case where that one kid was arrested for a life sentence for making a "threat" on facebook about shooting up a school when in fact he said "lol jk" in the same post disclaiming everything he had said.
You must be out of your mind.

Like I said what if I posted on facebook that I was going to walk into a mall with a loaded AR-15 and do "something big"

What if someone jokingly threatened to light your house on fire as you sleep
Im sure you would take it lightly when you didnt know the person and they didnt clearly state they were joking.

I'm pretty big on freedom of speech, but this was just someone being an idiot. A comparable case like the kid who got arrested for trash talking about shooting up his school, however, was obvious sarcasm.

I have a question
How much does freedom of speak apply here since it was a Dutch girl who said it (I dont know about the laws over there) even though it was towards American Airlines

What the forget did you just loving say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the forget out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my loving words. You think you can get away with saying that stuff to me over the Internet? Think again, forgeter. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re loving dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little stuff. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your loving tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will stuff fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re loving dead, kiddo.

>implying you cannot make out that a threat is a joke because the person who did it didn't clearly state that he was joking or because you didn't know them any better

Where does that quote originate from anyway?

Probably some internet tough guy on a youtube video comments section.

According to knowyourmeme.com it came from something called "operatorchan"

Obviously that quote is a joke
You have to be legitimately handicapped to post joking threats that you're going to bomb a plane and post it on the airlines social media page

Even though it was a joke it's not a very funny one

And that plane bombing threat was obviously a joke too. The airliners knew it when they responded to it, the girl knew it when she posted it. The airliner company still wanted to report it as a serious threat. If that isn't inhumane i don't know what is. I understand that the direction you're coming from is saying that its better to be safe than sorry, but this is pushing the limit to infinity and beyond.

According to what I've read online, multiple people are now sending them joke bomb threats.

Yep, welcome to humanity.

i thought this was about the guy in boston but yeah teenagers are stuff

It seems pretty appropriate to me. It is immature though, but the purpose of showing the airline company that threats from the internet are 99% of the time jokes is smart.

She's white, she can't be a terrorist.
