Author Topic: marijuana may be legalized in ohio  (Read 1151 times)

columbus and cleveland are both conservative as forget, too. i lived in both cities for a year

i don't see it, sorry if im missing it. if you are going by this by the 2008 election also, that may be another reason why.

Idk anything about marijuana, but I feel that it could get abused.
LOLLLLLLLL

anyway this might happen in florida too, tho miami and ft lauderdale are the only ones really pushing for it iirc

smoke weed erryday

they should do it on 4/20
easter is on 4/20 js

Idk anything about marijuana, but I feel that it could get abused.

Btw, in any of the already legalized states, is it okay to smoke it in public?  I wouldn't want to be somewhere with someone smoking marijuana making other people get high off the vapors.
there is no such thing as a "contact high"

and last time i checked the same rules that apply to tobacco smoking apply to marijuana
so yeah certain public parts allow marijuana smoking

and also its smoke not vapor
its burned not vaporized

unless they are using a vaporizer
in which case then yeah its vapor

No, it's not. "Yes. Addiction—or compulsive drug use despite harmful consequences—is characterized by an inability to stop using a drug; failure to meet work, social, or family obligations; and, sometimes (depending on the drug), tolerance and withdrawal. The latter reflect physical dependence in which the body adapts to the drug, requiring more of it to achieve a certain effect (tolerance) and eliciting drug-specific physical or mental symptoms if drug use is abruptly ceased (withdrawal). Physical  dependence can happen with the chronic use of many drugs—including many prescription drugs, even if taken as instructed. Thus, physical dependence in and of itself does not constitute addiction, but it often accompanies addiction. This distinction can be dificult to discern, particularly with prescribed pain medications, for which the need for increasing dosages can represent tolerance or a worsening underlying problem, as opposed to the beginning of abuse or addiction."

I was in a open house with my cousin in his room. He doesn't have a door either and there is a vent and a fan. I still got a contact high to high hell.

If you wait another 10 years, I grant you that over 75% of the blue states (Democratic majority) will legalize marijuana in some form - whether it be for medicinal use or strictly regulated recreational use. Without a doubt, the legalization of this drug would really bring in millions of revenues per year to a state and it would make the prison population decrease which would save taxpayers dollars. I really am a big supporter on the legalization of medical marijuana, but nothing more. I see disaster if we were to all legalize recreational marijuana in most jurisdictions.

ohio is massively conservative in its three c-city strongholds ( cleveland, columbus, cincinnati ) so it'd be a miracle if it passed.

Believe it or not, it's not as conservative as it used to be. Ohio is known for having real working class Americans, and while many of them are progressive conservatives - the bigger cities such as Columbus, Toledo, Akron, Cincinatti, and Cleveland have significant amounts of younger Democrats who are a bit more open on social issues. Not to mention, Obama who won Ohio in 2012 which definitely does say something about the political demographic of the state. I think there is a chance that Ohio may legalize it.

iirc medicinal marijuana is already legal in my state.  I've already seen little blips and mentions on the news about it already being in use.

That's weird, I live in New York which is fairly liberal but we still haven't got to legalizing any form of marijuana yet.
