seriously

how does it make any sense, I mean, what does it stand for? In before?

it stands for in before yes

inb4 is like a way of saying "I did this before everyone else"
For example, you might say inb4 the lock if a thread is going to locked soon.

in before
it makes sense

replace "inb4" with "i bet that" and it should make sense
(in most cases i think)

ive never really understood inb4 too much but this makes alot more sense to me:
replace "inb4" with "i bet that" and it should make sense

inb4ban would mean in before ban
it basically means you're in the topic before you get banned
or you're in the topic, a server, or whatever before a certain event happens

replace "inb4" with "i bet that" and it should make sense
(in most cases i think)

What? translating "inb4" to "I bet that" makes sense in no cases.

I bet that lock
I bet that glass buys new alt (ok maybe this one)
I bet that ban
I bet that kill

replace "inb4" with "i bet that" and it should make sense
(in most cases i think)
Replace it with, "I am predicting a " or "I predict that "
