Author Topic: Adding Custom Bricks too Blockland  (Read 2152 times)

Hi
Is there any way too use .dts files for both collision and the model, I have being searching the forums for a complex brick (arches fences windows ect.) making tutorial and have being unable too find any, also is there a way too convert .dts files too .blb files and if not will there be one released in the future as I think it would really help all the modders who wish too make more bricks.
If I have missed the tutorials please direct me too them.
Any constructive replies are welcome.

.Blb files are merely text files predicting where the vertices and textures would be. You could make a half arch from the same collision model as a full arch.

At the moment there isn't a quick way to do a blb, you just have to know what each thing is and how to calculate it, and you can only have a dts for the collision mesh.

Hopefully Badspot releases a .blb creation tool as manually creating each .blb file is very time consuming especially when making any complex bricks as inputting lot of coordinates is a pain.
What way did Badspot make the .blb files did he use a converter tool as it seems to0 time consuming too make all them .blb files manually.
Is there anyway to use the milkshape raw files as a base for the blb file?
Don't they contain all the coordinates for the vertices?

If Badspot Release Something Like That, There Would Be Tons Of Brick Downloads, But Ya, I Would Get The Add-On :D.  *There May Be One In v9*
