Author Topic: Today is 4/20  (Read 5033 times)

Today, I was walking with my friends to a park and a guy pulled up to us and asked," Are you blazing? Do you know what day it is?" No joke.

I don't understand why your third world countries don't switch over to a system that actually makes sense, like American.

2014/4/20 makes sense. 4/20/2014 does not.

why would you say the year first

20/4/2014 makes sense, day<Month<Year

why would you say the year first

Because that is standard and because a year is more significant than a month. That's why you want to put the month first, right? Because it's more significant than a day?

forget yeah hungary

at least we got the date right

you got the date right according to port but not according to pretty much everyone else on the forums

I really don't see why you guys are getting so worked up over a bunch of numbers.

I don't get why you guys would say 'It's the 20th of April' when it's easier to say 'It's April 20 today'
Seriously you people using 20/4 would sound very archaic.

Point taken.

I still stand for efficiency and ease though.

saying "It's the 20th of April" isn't exactly the hardest thing to do or say
