I believe he means grammar wise.
Sure in English the way it's used April 20 is far easier than 20th of April but in whatever language he's using, 20 de Abril might be easier to use in a sentence than Abril 20.

also let's not forget that the us uses fahrenheit while the rest of the world (excluding a few small African countries) uses celsius
