Anyway, that post has been bothering me ever since it was placed. Next to being attacked by a mutant salamander in 1999, that was a major part of my life that kept irking me from time to time. I had to go through two weeks of rehab, but it's all cool now except for an occasional recurring nightmare.
I'm grateful for you apologizing, OP. Now I can let go of part of the past.

After you were attacked by this mutant salamander, did you experience any strange happenings? (Or receive any illnesses, particularly stomach-related illnesses?)
It was a research experiment from a few years ago. The post OP made in 2009 inspired me with the idea that I could take a common salamander and transport it ten years back in time. Ten was much too long of a time, I'm also just ignorant.
Unfortunately, there were strange.. side effects.. that occured during this. Probably because of how far in time I took the salamander back. I was the one in charge of this project, it was my decision and my fault. The salamander.. changed. The outcome was repulsive, it was disgusting. And it was dangerous. I don't remember what it looked like, I didn't really want to think about that hideous thing very much after the experiment. Though, as dangerous as it was, it also led to many significant discoveries in time travel and the dangers of producing it. I'm sorry that this happened this way. The salamander was simply supposed to be "transported" through time, and I was supposed to find it ten years ago with a note taped to its back. It was supposed to tell me to transport the salamander ten years later to the date I read the note on. (By the way, when the salamander attacked you, was there a note taped to it?)
The salamander was destroyed a long time ago, though, as many lives as it took. (I don't know if the salamander killed anyone as my present self was not aware of the salamander's existence.) So please, let this rest. On behalf of [REDACTED] Corporation, we are sorry that this happened to you, and we will make sure this sort of thing does not happen again.
