In all honesty you are not normal if you don't flip your stuff when a wasp or bee is near your face.

I actually just sit there, frozen, hoping a sudden gust of wind does not blow it into my neck and the creature stings me.
I guess I'm not normal then? Sure, I don't try to pick them up, but it's usually people being startled by them that gets them stung.

But if you're careless about them you might accidently hit one or something. My guard is always up when I'm outside in warm weather

I actually read last night that flyswatters aren't the best thing the kill them with. They apparently release a chemical when they die from a puncture wound (like if you smash them) and it alerts other wasps in the area that one is under attack. So I would go the hornet spray route

bees wasps hornets and everything else thats small and has a spike on its ass

forget 'em

Electric bug zapper = RIP in Peace Wasp

I hate all insects, honestly. Also WASP can also mean White Anglo Saxan Protestant.

This. Except the ladybug. I only sorta dislike the ladybug.

Same, I respect bees, ladybugs, and butterflies but that's it.

Bees are fine, took me a while to realize they weren't the piss brats that wasps are. I have always been scared of getting stung buy them and 1 summer I was playing at this duck hunting cabin with a spear I made and 2 wasps somehow made it onto the spear, so being the forget tard I am i grabbed the spear right where they were getting 4 nice stings on the palm of my hand. Then another summer my dad took us to a 4 wheeling park and we went to the bathroom and all we heard was BUZZZZZZ. Like holy stuff there was like a huge nest in there. Finnaly my fears were increased by 90% when one summer in montana we went to whitefish(this park thats on a mountain) and when we were on the actual mountain at the top  there were 500 wasps swarming the place, every 2 seconds a wasp woud fly infront of you or on your leg/ skim your nose. I was trying to follow them but a few times like 4 wasps were stopped midair infront of me, so I had to get stopped and back away like 50 times. When we got inside a small bar place there were no wasps. But if you looked out of the window at least 10 wasps were on the window ready to loving ambush you. Somehow I didn't get stung though.

Who the forget doesn't?

Wasps are normally around humid areas. Just avoid any pools, puddles, sinks or hoses. And I prefer getting stung by a bee than a wasp because I suffer for 30 mins while the bee dies. Wasps' stinger doesn't have an arrow-head-like form so they can pull it out to sting you again.
