Author Topic: Anyone Know What's Going on with CBMHost? (Read 2481 times)

In case some of you haven't noticed, servers hosted by CBMHost, which include Boost's The Hidden, theportalmaster's Winter Bite RP, and my Fantasy DM, seem to have really high pings, and I can't connect to them. Other people seem to be having issues, too. I'm really impatient because I want to play on my server later and work on the forum post for it, and I haven't gotten a response from CBMHost about this yet (I sent my message a little less than an hour ago, so I guess I should wait but). Does anyone happen to be knowledgeable about what's going on, and would they care to enlighten everyone else?

Does he use CBMHost? Sorry, I don't really know who uses what. If this is an issue with other hosting services, I'd be even more concerned.

Yeah he uses CBMHost, but hammerhost is down i think so idk.

I have a CBMHost server as well, but mine is where mine is usually. 150- ping.

Are you able to connect to it? My ping is usually less (around 20 or 16), but now it's suddenly ~100.

It worked the second time I reloaded the page, but failed on more attempts.

If it's a ddos the panel wouldn't be blank like that.

We are getting normal ping as usual. So there isn't really a way that could be happening. Maybe they are upgrading? Maybe a system error? (Used to happen all the time on the old cbm host server)

I guess it's an update. They should at least put something up on the website or something if that's so. Is this the latest version of the website? There's nothing on the news or forums that would indicate that this is supposed to happen.
