20th century

we went from not knowing how to fly to going to the moon

and that's only 70% of the way through the century

we also went from napoleonic tactics to atomic weapons

in 40 years

My favorite part in history was when the russians managed to remove a head from a dog and reinsert it in another dog without killing it making a 2-headed dog.
