People who think the US should just stay out of anything that doesn't involve the country directly are naïve, and don't recognize the fact that everything involves everyone in some way or another, the US especially (being the superpower that it is). This is not the 1800s where getting from one country to another takes months. This is 2014 and you can get across the planet in under a day, everyone is connected to everyone else in ways too complicated to detail.
