I have 2 downtownish apartment buildings. I think they're ok, but I don't know what to add besides interiors. Tell me what I should edit/add/remove! These are based of real buildings in the Bay Area (San Francisco), and I tried my best too make it look like the actual thing:

Pretty bland, no real architectural creativity with the boxy buildings.
Add some interiors, and look at real life pictures of buildings.
It helps if you don't define a building's architecture with just windows (and 3 hex-circle plates)

Use the scroll wheel, look at the windows while you do it.

actually, this was based a couple pictures I took with my phone while driving away from the Bay Area in San Francisco. That is pretty much why it is bland, because I was trying to make it look like the real deal.

Maybe you have a crappy monitor because I see nothing.

Also, just because you copied a real life building doesn't necessarily mean its a nice build, you should try harder to find a nice looking building, rather than something boring.
