I got my braces tightened and elastics put on a week ago. The dumbass orthodontist last time took 3 months to fix my wire digging into my cheek, leaving this huge ass scar
THEN after what happened last week, the wire popped out again and is doing the same thing in the healing wound.

My mouth hurts like hell.

Prepare for your entire mouth to hurt for a few days and don't dare swallow, not even accidentally, the chemicals and gels the dentists puts in your mouth. I woke up the next day with a 40^o fever and could bearly move. I got better at night.

i thought i had a low pain tolerance but seriously why do people need to take painkillers for that
