Author Topic: Blockland Not Recognizing All Mouse Buttons  (Read 798 times)

Hey Everyone,

I have a Logitech M500 Wired Mouse. It has 2 buttons on the side of the mouse (Buttons 4 and 5) and Blockland seems to only recognize them as a single button, so when I map one control to one button, and another to the other, it acts as if they're one and the same. Does anyone else have this same mouse and know how to fix this? I didn't have this issue on Mac but now I'm getting it on Windows 7. I installed the latest Logitech drivers for it, but I'm not positive if the button settings are correct.

Please let me know if you have a solution,
Thanks.

Reinstall Blockland,

And when it asks you for your mouse/keyboard setting, make sure it says Two button+wheel,

or Two-button,

something like that.

Ducky, that doesn't really help.

OP, I have a Logitech M705 and it does the same thing. Let me check my settings.

I already did have it set to Two Button + Wheel. It should be noted that this is essentially a completely fresh install of BL anyways. I just got a new comp a week or two ago. All drivers are installed, including Logitech SetPoint Software and everything else. I attempted this on USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.

I already went to the forums and tried that. I set both to generic button and blockland only recognizes them as the same button, button 4. Thanks though.

A little bit crazy but...

You could set your mouse driver to change your mouse settings when Blockland is open. Set each of your buttons to some strange key combination (e.g. ctrl + alt + ,) and then simply set those key combinations to what you want the mouse bound to do.
