Author Topic: Looking at gaming laptops  (Read 741 times)

So I'm looking to sell my Lenovo Thinkpad and upgrade to a laptop more suited for games. I've been looking at the ideapad Y510p, this model specifically:
Lenovo Y510p Laptop - 59405668 - Dusk Black

I don't know much about computers, so let me know how the specs are on that laptop. I will take suggestions within that price range, so feel free to show me different laptops. Also don't turn this into a big argument like computer topics usually turn into, I specifically want a laptop being a student and all. You can't persuade me into building or buying a desktop.

and ravencroft returns

i looked at reviews and people where saying that it had "low build quality"

then this guy showed up

then this guy showed up

stop trying to derail the loving thread

OT:

you should probably sell your thinkpad for what you think feels right

Lenovo sucks ass

get Asus

one review said that it can't even run world of warcraft on average settings

That's like
the most sad thing ever.

All I really need to be able to run is Blockland and sometimes css and gmod, which I play rarely.

I have an Asus laptop. With no graphics card, but it plays all my games well. Only 6 gigs of ram.
