Author Topic: Driver who killed teen is suing dead boy’s family for $1 million  (Read 2213 times)

Whats next, families suing the police for helping them? I can sue her for being a bitch, right? She has caused me mental stress and i'm having daymares about people like her every night. Totally justified.
This.

And here's the thing, since she's a woman, she'll probably get off scott free or with some small punishment like a month in jail or community service

"Equal rights for everyone."

But I seriously hope that this is NOT the case.

This lady probably needs to get hit by a train. I generally like to avoid saying things like that but I feel the world would be a better place if people like this stopped existing.

I like all the stuffting on the US when this is a Canadian thing. You didn't even read the article but you just have to have your voice on the issue heard. On top of this Fox cites Toronto Sun as it's source, I'm pretty sure that it's a tabloid rag  with almost 0 credibility.

Even if this is real I really doubt this will make it to a trial, because I doubt Canada's justice system is buttforget handicapped.

Damn people are dumb as hell sometimes.

I'm not Canadian, but here's an article from the Ottawa Citizen if you're not convinced.

I dunno why somebody would lie about something like this, but who knows.

Well, if it was the kids fault, she would be entitled to sue.

While it's really disrespectful towards those guys and their families to sue and I totally don't agree with her suing the family, imagine this.

You're driving down a road, paying attention to the road when you suddenly hit a person you couldn't even see coming. Those guys had no lights on them or anything, so in a way it is their own fault. You have killed one person and heavily injured another one without having any intention to. You want to comfort the family but they do not want anything to do with you.

And like always with these kind of incidents, rumors spread that you were drunk driving or something else that you shouldn't have been doing behind the wheel, which isn't true at all. Basically, your entire life just falls to stuff and to top it off, you're being sued for everything you have.

Like, if I was in this situation, I wouldn't sue or do anything that could harm the family, but I can sort of understand where this lady is coming from.

Actually this happened in Canada.
yeah some people up here are pretty handicapped.

Yosher, the person is old and might have bad eyesight

yeah some people up here are pretty handicapped.
Not everyone here lives in Canada or America and knows all geographical locations of such countries. If you could inform us of this instead of calling us dumb and handicapped that would be nice. Thanks.

I think Flatflyer was calling some Canadians handicapped, hence "up here", in relation to the people involved in this incident, not forum users for not knowing this happened in Canada rather than the US.

Don't you think wishing death on the driver is a little too much?

Why are people always hating on America?
