So like, the video player is huge as forget by default.

It's just a figment of your imagination.

Try zooming out in your browser (Ctrl + Mouse wheel)

They should have just extended it to be as wide as the white container, not like 3 inches past.

i have youtube snapped to the right and everything else to the left. The player only gets really big when you maximise the screen, so if you want it to be the previous size, snap it

why are people seriously complaining about this? why would you not want to see the video better?

then lower the quality

The viewing size doesn't affect the quality of video that it uses unless it detects your internet connection can handle it.

So obviously, that's not the issue. We're back to: Why would you not want to see the video better?
