That's not better though-- that's actually worse. If you were to follow every rule of the road to the T, you'd probably cause an accident or be pulled over for obstructing traffic. I'd define better as who can get to the destination the fastest with the least amount of danger.

Take highways for example. In my area, the speed limit on the highway is 65mph. The slow lane moves at 75mph, the fast lane moves at 85mph. Driving 65mph would create a road hazard similar to a blood clot.

my mom drives a lot better than my dad because 1) she is way better at navigating than he is and 2) she can parallel park. parallel parking is an instant win. also she's really good at driving in icy weather because she kinda grew up in wisconsin. she used to go and do donuts on the lake when it froze over really thick.

Both of them are good, but my mom's a bit faster because her car is a mustang and my dads is a minivan.

My dad has been in multiple accidents but I think all around he is a better driver. He drives a huge fuel truck for his job so he has a lot of experience driving.

my mom's had a few accidents but she's still a good driver. one time when she was pregnant with me one of my dad's college friends called her at ungodly hours of the morning needing a ride. my mom is really bad about having to get up really early and function, but she was like "fine whatever." long story short she fell asleep at the wheel and her car fell into a ditch. thankfully i managed to survive but it has contributed to my list of near death experiences.
