In terms of other roads, I sometimes don't slow down much while getting onto my street.  I just need to veer right a bit off the highway and can't really slow down without causing a dangerous situation.  I end up being at 50 in a 30.

Routes here aren't exactly "luxury". If I pass 130KM/h, I will destroy the poor car with the big amount of potholes trucks make and the impressive number of patches of asphalt workers put to "fix" the holes.

It's not that teens and young adults are bad drivers-- it's that they are irresponsible drivers. There's a difference between driving well but irresponsibly (hi) and just flat out sucking at driving. There are tons of people out there who just don't know how to drive; people who go through stop signs out of turn, people who run red lights when a left hand turn signal turns green, people who don't check their blindspots and cut people off by accident, people who can't seem to stay in their lane, etc.
