For the 600 people talking about us being homos, I'm not part of the D club. I'm sweet on a girl here in IL.
I flew in yesterday from Toronto (YYZ) via Porter airlines. Flew on a Dash 8 Q400 which was pretty cool. Noisy.
After I vomited a bunch from turbulence and landed, I went to check into my hotel. I had booked online and the Hiton I was supposed to stay at denied me because I was under 21 (20). After calling numerous hotels apparently it's the LAW. So, I loving blew up at booking.com for not telling me this, so they cancelled my non-refundable booking for $149 (which I didn't pay them because forget that). Got an inflatable mattress & have been sleeping at tom's house.
We met up with our friend Emily and Laura, and we went to Laura's favorite place to go which was this rooftop lounge in a high rise condo. It was breathtaking.
Yesterday we saw a Bombay Bicycle Club Concert. It was nothing short of absolutely awesome.
Tom bought me their new album on vinyl and I got to MEET the lead singer & bassist (I'm a bassist too!) and they signed my vinyl.
Ed asked me what bass I play, I just told him it was an older 4 string Ibanez (child's play compared to his American Standard P) he said 4 string is the best, don't waste time with any more than that. I told him my brother had a few and wanted me to get one, his kind reply was "Nah, forget that. Stick with 4. It's more fun."
