Author Topic: Help Colten Think of a Title for His Paper!  (Read 1290 times)

Its a paper arguing against the labelling of GMO products.

I need a title and subtitle preferably. Something like this:

The Stocking Story
From Troll to Triumph

Elaborate on what the paper's about a bit, please.

"My Argument Agianst Labeling GMO Products"

Might I ask why you would be against labeling GMOs? As someone who is very strongly anti-GMO, I would not want to buy anything genetically modified and would greatly benefit from having accurate labels.

GMO products arent unhealthy and labeling them is placing an unneccesary cost on farmers and producers when the only result would be reinforcing the myth that GMOs are dangerous.

Not looking to argue in this topic - Just wanted help with my title!

Also idk what more info I could provide, I already stated the topic

Actually, yeah - why against labeling them? People should have the right to know what they're eating/purchasing. Ever heard of this thing called the problem of imperfect information? GMOs haven't been proven to be "better" or "worse" than normal food.

However, I will respect that you don't want an argument; stopping there.

You can't say you respect that he doesn't want an argument when you've just actively started one.
You came in here with a point to make. Sharing it here is only ever going to spur others on to argue.

If you have an opinion on it then send Pixel a PM and pick his brains there.

this one made me laugh a fair bit

Sorry, I typed up that before he posted that he wanted no arguments. I just didn't want to delete it. Don't worry, it has been moved to PMs, no harm done.

they should definitely be required to be labeled regardless of what effects it does or doesn't have. it doesn't matter if some farmer has to spend an extra fraction of a cent to put a little "GMO" logo on his packaging, people have every right to know what they're putting in their mouths
