Author Topic: Buying a game from someone on craigslist?  (Read 462 times)

I want serious posts. Reassuring is possible.

I'm meeting someone at their home to buy a copy of GTA 5. it's in an Ok neighborhood, but lots of the houses, if not the majority, have wear and tear and look a little unprepared. I haven't met this guy, and I asked where we could meet, and he said he'd give me the address and that it was on maps on the ad. I'm not necessarily worried, but I'm just looking for a way not to do this.

Buy a copy from gamestop.

Then don't buy it? The situation you said seems typical for classifieds.

If you're frightened of the person and not the neighbourhood, take someone with you to wait outside.

If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.

When in doubt, don't do it.

I just looked deeper and I'm no longer doubting it.
