Well it's kinda un-realistic how you just hold it on the right forever when holding it.

Uh, you do realize most blockland guns are like this?

Yes.

Yes.
And you realize Blockland isn't a very realistic game in itself?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Try getting into coding stuff for the game, make some awesome gamemodes for others to host :o
This.  I was in your same position a year ago.  Decided to take up some casual coding and it has revitalized my interest.  It's a sensation on par with being able to bend the rules since the content you create can be unique to your server.  Try starting with weapons.
I don't know where to start. There's a lot of guides for those reasonably familiar with TS, but the syntax is entirely alien to me. I'm used to C-like languages; namely, Java, C#, and Python 2. I also have experience with Lua. However, TS has all those weird symbols and datablocks and... eugh. Where to start?

If you've been playing for 3 years id say you got your money's worth. At some point everyone becomes bored of everything. Id say just stop playing instead of feeling like you owe the community your time or whatever. Because that's unhealthy.
I agree, I got my money's worth, but I still don't really want to quit. Can't tell you why, I just don't.

It probably means you either have stuffty friends or play on stuffty servers. I've been doing this for 6 years and I'm not bored yet, although I do feel like I should give more back
I like my friends on BL, though it might be because they're all forumers. Can't say the same about servers though. It's not that they're bad, but none of them are interesting anymore. TDMs, SpeedKart (which was never fun because I'm stuff at it), freebuild, you name it. Occasionally there is the one unique server but they never seem to do very well before disappearing.

leave and never come back

Dear anyone referring to laser guns:
Classic laser weapons (Better IMO):

(Links don't work, you'll have to get them from a rtb archive)
Could someone make these into a package? I would if I new how.

OT: If you're bored, maybe build a quick arena out of GSF bricks, and spawn bots in to fight them.
It might not be your kind of thing but it helps me.
These are the best laser guns out there and making more isn't an efficient use of time. I personally hate ammo systems; they essentially punish you for being alive too long unless you spam ammo everywhere, which is ugly and defeats the purpose anyway. Sights are an okay novelty but aren't useful nor necessary, as you can just hold F. Gameplay should never be sacrificed for realism. If adding something realistic makes your game/feature/whatever less fun, it should be removed. If it makes strategy more interesting or provides a challenge, it's fine.

People who say this really annoy me.

They're right, it wasn't a game meant to be realistic. Realistic things simply do not fit well. And by the way, laser guns aren't realistic anyway. As I said, gameplay should always take precedence over realism. Ammo is annoying and punishes players that survive for a long time. Think about that. If you survive a while, you run out of ammo and die. Remember the last time a game punished you for doing well? Most games that have ammo usually reward it on kill, but a system like that is relatively tough to implement well. In TF2, if you die, you drop a gun which you can use to replenish ammo. It also forces players to occasionally step into battle. That means that players that do well aren't punished if they collect their spoils, because they're rewarded on kill. In Blockland, you have to drop a big ugly ammo item, which was attempted with T+T2 and it was just annoying. Whenever you walked by someone, there would be this clicking sound, and half the ammo wasn't used anyway.

Go play BF3

Or TF2

The latter has 'some' realism.

And keep your inhumanly stuffty ironsight bullstuff out of this game pls.

I just like to have sights rather then holding my gun on the right all the time.

Building is always fun, even if it's just a house. You could also try learning eventing to it's full extent, then incorporate that into the things you build. I bought the game just for the sake of building and eventing and I still love the game like I did in 2007.  :cookieMonster:

thanks, I couldn't find this pack so i just found the next thing

Just stop playing it for a while?  It's what I do, and I've been playing since 2007.  Eventually your interest should resurface.
