Author Topic: Worst Injury you ever had.  (Read 2520 times)

I've been fairly lucky as far as injuries go. The two ones I can think of that had the worst potential to leave a long-term injury would have been slipping backwards while going down a stairwell and smashing my head on the step behind me, and getting a small piece of sand in my eye. As silly as the second one sounds, it was actually large enough to cause permanent damage to the eye if it hadn't been removed.

However, neither were very painful, in the former case probably because of shock. The most PAINFUL injury I've ever had is accidentally closing a car door while my hand was still inside its arc.

I was playing hide and seek with my brother when I was 3 with a jacket covering my face and bruised my eyebrow. Now that I look back on it, I just think how stupid it was of me to play with something covering my face.

Split my head open at age 4 from being pushed into the corner of a wall.

Fell from top of a bunkbed head first.

I remember passing out after it happened or something like that. The pain was terrifying.

Sprained my ankle last year. I was down for a couple days and it hurt to walk for over a week after

When I was younger I jabbed a knife at my arm and broke it. It's harder to type with that arm now.

I was at a Tampa Bay Rays @ St Louis Cardinals game with my grandpa when I was eleven or so. We had upper deck seats with the afternoon sun straight on us. Somehow, we didn't remember sunscreen and I got a crippling sunburn. I couldn't walk at all for about 24 hours since my legs were so bad. I had scars showing the mark where my shorts ended on that day until I was about fifteen.
