that's not an excuse for low quality music

either way if it really was something that you didn't put effort into you wouldn't have posted it here, and you wouldn't expect any good feedback from it.

if you really want me to put word by word what's wrong with your music rather than implying it, your songs have no melody whatsoever, it's just a bunch of notes smashed together and it sounds bad, and they're seriously crowded. I used to do the same mistake about 2 years ago but I would take people's opinions into consideration and eventually made my songs way better, but with this attitude of yours you're never gonna improve

why make this stuff when youre not awake then, if you know people will say this stuff?

enough with the excuses already

any time someone criticizes you/your work, you make excuses or dis them
it needs to stop

says the one who had some simple edit of his furry art by someone then flipped the tables
this topic is just about random things i make
i just make simple tunes or things
so
yea

dont make music at 5am

then flipped the tables
i think the difference is you do it regularly
i'm certain you can't even hear the music at 5am unless you blast it inconsiderately at such an early time
don't just say "oh they're just small things you don't have to listen to them!" rather, "oh there's some criticism i should do better"
if you're not going to put in enough effort to a point in which you even don't care then don't bother

you "flip tables" on a regular basis so don't even play that card

you "flip tables" on a regular basis so don't even play that card

i was going to take the criticism its just that they shove the criticism in my face like a richardhead

fair enough, but you weren't acknowledging anyone who gave criticism so you kind of brought it on yourself

you need to work on learning basic composition rules before you even think about opening FL studio/Cubase/whatever you used

music composition is a lot like drawing in that you can just throw stuff down right off the bat and have some parts appear good, but if you don't plan everything out first you'll usually end up with a disjointed clusterforget of out-of-place pieces

My original point still stands, stop making excuses every time someone criticizes you

i was going to take the criticism its just that they shove the criticism in my face like a richardhead
People did that to me, too. Then later I looked back at it, and learned from it
I'm pretty sure you can do the same

stop making excuses every time someone criticizes you
this

Some people did that to me, too.

Usually people would type up a wall elaborating on how you have no right to say this or this is blatant ad hominem or whatever, and i would've myself, but I think this segment would make a great visual metaphor between the level of determination you and blouk put each other's "profession".

Sorry, but that last part isn't true. I never learned anything in terms of composition, and I've never planned out anything beforehand in music. These things are great and all, and I'm by no means dissing them, but not necessary. All that's really necessary is an ear that can tell what sounds good and what doesn't. What OP needs to do is accept that he lacks experience with music, take the criticism, and improve with practice.

You need at least some level of musical theory to make music thats presentable

If you don't understand music then don't make songs
If you're deaf then don't become a language professor

OT: Whether you're a master musician or a novice, you need to learn how to take criticism

What do you use to make music, I need to start getting music stuff out of my head
