If you hang around bad people, does that make you a bad person?

Because im the only British kid in this school and everyone is trying to get a part of me, the handicaps piss me off too often also. The popular kids are also a little stupid they think their badman when they aren't, In Brittan it was easy to find friends and hang out with them but here its really complicated for me that I just want to get a delorean so I can go back in time to make a huge amount of changes

Depends I guess.  If you just hang with them and don't participate, I don't think it really matters.  If you're doing their bad actions too, then yes.

But the question is, if you know they are bad people why do you want to hang around them?
You're only going to end up clumped together with them, regardless of your actions.

I would have thought this would be an obvious answer here, given the ridiculous "clubs" of people we've had who've tried to attack the game, community and members. There were some members of those groups who weren't as bad as others, but hanging around with them got those people a bad name.
