I've been in situations like the OP, mostly do to overreacting "victims". Once I made a joke in class, after someone said I was pale. I responded by saying, "Nah, I'm like, 200% African American." Some black girl heard me say it. She told the office that I had been bullying her because of her race, and that I constantly harassed her because of it. Whenever I tried to say to them that she was having an extreme overreaction and lying, they just said "I DONT WANT TO HEAR YOU ARGUE!" or "THIS IS VERY SERIOUS!" or something like that. I ended up getting pissed off and bringing my parents to the school who yelled at the office, and they dropped it.
I know that schools can overreact to things, particularly jokes and comments taken the wrong way.
I've been accused of bullying a girl before when we had a falling out, and the school initially took her side becuase she was the first to complain.
THey dropped it the moment my parents complained about it and explained the situation.
The difference between the scenario that you and I have, is that neither of us hit someone. And neither of us had a history of similar incidents. We might not have been perfect but neither of us ended up being sent to a special school with strict rules and regulations and an unorthodox system of treating the students.
I know plenty of people who've been in fights, or even been disruptive in lessons. Even I've been in my fair share of playground fights, and like those people I've had detentions for them and had a telling off.
But most people don't get sent to another school for it. Because as a character, we're all pretty much good. We might sometimes do things wrong, but it's not so consistent to be an issue.
And fights and things happen, but it either has to be a very serious single incident to get sent away, or a long list of incidents to illicit such a response from the school.
Bloukface's situation is clearly not normal. It goes beyond a school overreacting to his actions. It's a school that's taken it's last available course of action, to remove him.
Honestly, I don't think OP has been harassing anyone. Even if he has, posting about it here doesn't really matter. He's not a richard on the forums, so why bother him about it?
I could let him carry on telling us how great his school is. It wouldn't harm me.
But I don't want people to get the impression that he's been done wrong by, or he's completely innocent of the circumstances leading to his situation.
And if I'm right and he's in a place like I believe for the reasons I believe, then hopefully him knowing that someone is judging him for it will help him get his act together.
It might be a nice school for him, but it doesn't sound like a place to be proud of.
