Author Topic: What Game made you feel something  (Read 1452 times)

Tell me what game you have played that has had a strong emotional effect on you. For example I played Bioshock infinite Burrial at Sea and that made me bawl my goddamn eyes out. I'm looking for games you think were as memorable though emotial content as Bioshock games.
Go Go Go!

Blockland.
I felt right at home when I started, it was such a unique feeling.

Gone Home. So good.
Amnesia (both of them) are really good as well, but it's a bit more of a shock emotion than a deep story connection.

minecraft made me think of how much stuff I do/there is to do with almost my entire steam friends list
nothing

Legend of Zelda ocarina of time
Super Mario 64
Smash bros (64)
Smash bros melee
Mario kart64
Mario baseball
Tekken 5
Champions of norath

Bioshock is one of the best games for storyline, I never really loved the gameplay but the story would keep me on the edge of my cheap gaming chair. Anyways other games I love are Ether One and Thomas was alone.

Someone should make this thread but with movies...

Other good ideas are Dear Esther (story driven) and realMyst, (mystery driven)

does seeing old pics of interiors count as nostalgia

Half life is pretty awesome if you read into the story enough

One of my favorite parts of arma is the emmergant story that can come out of it if that counts

Mario Kart 64 made me feel something.
Eternal rage.

Katawa Shoujo~

Halo CE and Blockland make me feel relaxed

Halo 4's ending made me cry.

Another effect Bioshock Burrial at sea had on me was that It made me want to re-install Bioshock 1 so that I may splatter the brains of atlas all over again. Ya know, for closure.
