Hello people! Before starting, for those who does not know what either Big one or Galaxy railways is, Heres a video of both: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLOEvSY0hVw

So, galaxy railways, as some of you know, is an anime series that was or still is or Funimation, and as no one has still made a big boy or anything about this anime ( I think), heres The big one! (train shown on the video)

Looking good! It's a bit spammy and could use some variation on the cars, practice makes perfect.

So basically the prequel to Galaxy express 999

When you plan making the Galaxy Express 999, tell me, I'll sure collaborate with you

Okay, ive never saw any episode of Galaxy express 999, so ill need some pics to make it.

0/10, you could not have put any less detail into the build. Rather than nitpick the entire build (because that would honestly take all of forever with this), I'm going to hit the biggest mistakes

- every single one of your wheels is a hexagon, not a WHEEL. They're all also the same exact size, whereas if you look at the video, you can clearly tell the rear wheels of the engine are significantly larger than the front wheels
- The rail cars are one solid color with glowing yellow windows, I have no idea how you forgeted that one up unless you were going with creative freedom.
- The cannons on the train in the video look like they belong to a battle cruiser, have three barrels and are mounted on three sides of the rail-car, flush WITH the car itself. YOUR cannons is on ONE side, NOT flush with the train, and would be the equivalent of a pellet gun with some random bricks to the side of it??
- The rail cars have doors, yours don't (aside from the front/back..?). The rail car roofs have actual detail for hatches and are grey. Yours are black and void of detail.
- There is piping all along the engine. Where is your piping? DETAIL.
- We have no image of the front, so via the first picture I'm going to assume the following:
you have a light CENTERED on the train, and no number. Provided this is the case, BAD. If it's not, at least you did that right.
- You have one solid bar outside the wheels. Maybe you're just unfamiliar with Big Boy (which appears to be what this train is based upon)-

- Where's the cow catcher and the platform at the front of the train?

Seriously, it looks like you just duped the rail cars a good 15 times, slapped a "turret" on one and called it a day. I'm half tempted to get a good friend of mine to do this exact train with me just to show you all the things you could've done differently.

Wow he's obviously new to Blockland don't you think that's a bit harsh?

I think this is better than most builds I see from new users, no need to be so critical, AdinX

I've seen that train before, what the forget is this?! I'm forgetin confused

Nobody's perfect you richard.

Jesus this isn't a loving art museum.

I gave my opinion, I rated, and I gave constructive criticism on how he could improve the build. I've done more than any of you have just in posting on this thread. Rather than falsifying his hopes of being a competent builder much as you have, I've given him something to consider for future projects, to look more in-depth into the little details. If I'm a richard for being critical of a fairly poor build, I am truly not sorry for it. I am not going to adopt the "That's nice honey, but mommy's busy, go play with your trains dear," attitude.

I would rather be an starfish and see him improve as a builder,
than give him false hope and watch him continue to post sub-par builds.

Did you bother reading the OP? Clearly not.

Even you know you didn't have to be that critical
I mean really.
It just sounded like you flat out insulted him.

Lol are you assuming that I believe I was too critical? I stand by both of my posts completely, and I plan to build the train with a few close friends of mine, with the intent to release the save file.

I don't really care what it sounded like, because in the end I've given him more to improve on than any other person in this thread. If that makes me an starfish, I'm not really bothered by it as the only people I'm concerned with on Blockland would more than likely agree with me, especially since while writing that post I was talking with two of them.

and I plan to build the train with a few close friends of mine, with the intent to release the save file.
loving really?
Alright I'm done.

loving really?
Alright I'm done.

Thank god.
Listen, the best way for most people to learn to build is observing other peoples' builds. To learn from someone else and improve on their style and mix together multiple styles. I've seen this done, time and time again. I've taught blockheads how to learn to build this way, time and time again. The one you're pissed off at, AdinX, when I first met him this was about all he could do. Using the SAME loving TECHNIQUE he learned how to build, and he became damn good at it. My money says you still build houses out of 1x1x5's and colour them red, so if you don't mind, learn your place before you open your mouth.

It didn't sound like an insult to me, insulting him would be calling him a bigot, not giving out pointers.

...and I plan to build the train with a few close friends of mine, with the intent to release the save file.

Hey hey hey.
This is where I step in.

This is an old build, I don't even have the bricks to support this one anymore. If this is a super old build imagine what can be done with the new bricks and packs out there. Just let that sink in.

To OP:
One way to also assist in building is if you get different brick packs and brick pack types, having the variety can help bring ideas out of your head. I love the creativity and idea that you had here, and I see potential. Keep at it and improve your skills :)
