It's been said several times that baddy is in the middle of doing a compatibility-breaking update.
Which I've been nearly praying to be vehicle physics.

That's kinda.... keeping the bar low don't you think?
forget vehicles. That is just a tiny aspect of physics use

they're basically the only aspect of physics use. brick physics isn't even server sided. he's keeping the bar low because there's pretty much no chance of reaching it, let alone going higher.

You should treat the game as finished and not expect anything else.

No game is ever truly finished.

All I really want is improved vehicle physics so we can have some fun racing servers.

That tiny aspect of physics use could lead into some inspiration for big projects.

forget vehicles.
How can you say that? D:

Blockland's history as well as the word of the developers have created an expectation of continued updates.

I'm not particularly upset things are progressing slowly, but I certainly expected something more after this length of time, especially after what Kompressor said about the importance of removing maps.

I notice that the r1931 development thread is now locked. In fact that's what I expected this topic to be about.

I was sorely dissapointed when I found out the shaders won't be used by a good portion of the community. I feel like while it was a trade off for some, it was more of a loss for others.

The thing that has annoyed me is the fact that half the updates still could have probably been done with maps in the game. I wouldn't mind shaders so much if they weren't poorly optimized :/

I'm more used to the "Release 0002 and don't update anything until 2007"
