Author Topic: Airsoft Beginner Tips?  (Read 1737 times)

I'm thinking about doing airsoft stuff. I need some advice on what gun, mask, etc. I should get, what to do when you're playing, and stuff like that. Give me all of your advice, people!

pretty much you'll need an AEG and a mask. just do what you do in cod/battlefield/whatever and you'll be fine.
a good AEG would be an M4 or AK47 because they're pretty easy to find and usually cheap.

AR-15 is best Airsoft gun.

I heard those guns are good. Are they usually around the $100-$200 price range? Also, any specific companies or whatever to buy airsoft guns and equipment from?

Aim, shoot, short bursts, fire in the direction where the enemy might be, use semi mostly to avoid burning out your weapon's motor. M4's are pretty common, become hipster and get a long M16 or an AKM.

If you want to spend a pretty penny to get a really good value:

If you're on a budget, get Lancer Tactical rifles.

Very important to never fire in full -auto for more than 3 seconds as it could damage the motor, and get at least 2 hi-cap mags with the primary you buy

Are handguns worth getting along with an AK or something?

Don't buy cheap stuffty plastic ones

g18 or timber wolf is what i would want

You should just be a badass: get two handguns and duel wield them.

well have you ever been airsofting before?

also airsoftgi is a great website

I have never played airsoft, but I have played paintball. Question:

Is the pain the same, worst, or is it less painful?

Its probably the same, just in a much smaller surface area.
