I have no idea what type of RAM card would fit in my Slots.

Is there a common size for HP?

Operating system doesn't change anything accept for how you use GUI.

RAM for most PC's are universal (240 pin). Unless you're using a laptop, or Mac.

I don't know, how to check?

I took the cover off once to look at the components, I could do It again to check if you tell me where the tag would be, or if there is a program, that would be nice.

look up the model
find specs

just be careful not to open the cover when the pc is on, you could do some bad things. very very bad things.

RAM is HP - DIMM 240-pin.

Is HP - DIMM the model of the PC?

 Or HP - DDR3

Best thing is to find out first if it's DDR2 or DDR3 since both are DIMM 240-pin. DDR3 only fits into a different slot, has faster transfer bandwidth and clocks in at higher speeds.

Did anyone else laugh a ton at this post?

If you did, you have a weird sense of humor.

I was simply fixing it because he left out AMD.

Lets not derail the topic please.
