Author Topic: I'm going to Six Flags with school orchestra  (Read 864 times)

To celebrate our efforts in playing music, orchestra will be going to Six Flags. I cannot describe how excited I am right now because I never went to any theme parks before. The buses will leave at 9:15 and then a prediction of returning at 5:00

the 8th grade band at my school went to play at Six Flags a few weeks ago

Congrats! I wish my band could go to six flags

What instrument do you play?

Do NOT, and I repeat, do NOT "chicken out" of going on the big coasters. You will regret it. Unless you're not an adrenalin junkie, you will LOVE the coasters.

I chicken out on all of the coasters, the only one I can actually do is the Judge Roy Scream

You have to stop thinking about it and just follow the line till you're on the coaster. Then feel free to freak out. :b

Never been to six flags. There really aren't any real amusement parks near me

My family goes every year. I have done all the coasters but then I feel like crap at the end of the day

same here :(

I went to six flags over Texas for my band thing too.
Since the sky-screamer had came out, the Titan, Texas Giant, and pretty much every awesome coaster had a wait of about how long the ride took.
All my friends were too scared but luckily my best friend's mom's friends were too, since she was a chaperon I was able to ride both the Texas Giant and the Titan (Giant twice). Word advice riding the Titan, keep your head pressed to the back of your seat. If you don't, your head will sort of be locked forward and your neck will hurt afterwards for a while, but it's not that painful.
(Some kid at the Titan was looking behind him when the drop was about to happen. I got his attention last second thankfully)
