you don't need 8gb to host a game
the game can be all over the place as far as ram goes
better to be on the safe side

you don't need it but bigger is better

google "new york VPS"

are you blind or kidding?
i see nothing that matches the criteria i need

do you think that a new VPS that fits your criteria will magically appear when you ask the forum to find it?

why do you need it to be in new york? rackspace is extremely reliable, i've used it for two years.

the forum might know of a hosting provider that can match these specifications that wouldnt be found from a google search
do you really think i can just google everything i posted in the OP and a server will appear? lol

ping is pretty important and since there's gonna be some overseas people playing chicago or LA wouldnt be the best location
