What is your favorite non-franchise restaurant? (as in, you can't find another restaurant like it anywhere else)
Mine is a French bakery in Jackson Heights where they make the best hot chocolate ever. They also have awesome tuna sandwiches.

This amazing pizzeria in Central Phoenix, one of my favorite brick-oven cooked pizza places in existence.
It's just down the street from the AZ Science Center.

I don't know of any non-franchise restaurants around.

Fogo de chao. All you can eat meat. Literally all you can eat.

If you're ever in Minneapolis, check it out.

Lo Del Turco.

Best meat in town. Disclaimer: The owner isn't actually turkish.

Zibetto which closed 3 years ago. It was a nice little boutique Italian coffee shop. I'd get a vanilla Crossiant and a latte or marachino all the time, I miss it. Also I didn't know you lived in Queens Zan! I live in Manhattan.

Wtf, croissants aren't Italian.

we have a really good mexican place here called mi pueblo. it's forgetin amazing oh my god.
and then we have a pretty decent chinese buffet place downtown that's another one of my favorite, they have a small selection but it's super good especially when it's fresh.

Wtf, croissants aren't Italian.
doesnt meant they cant sell croissants or cornettos

some place called La Chuleta

The Velvet Grill and Creamery

Wtf, croissants aren't Italian.

I know but believe it or not in Italy they are common. Also the vanilla crossiants were the best - I would go there in the morning with my dad and they'd bake them right there and use their homemade vanilla custard filling. I still remember it.

theres a resturant called "El Monte's" or something, where i live, and they serve tacos, rice, and chicken, stuff like that there. its p good.
