Author Topic: Headphones Died - Looking for replacment.  (Read 1681 times)

So my headset gave out after 4 months (loving ridiculous) they were a decent $90 pair of Bose, they were comfortable and had pretty good sound quality, I noticed today all my music is really staticed and the lyrics are inaudible. So i'm looking for a new pair now, my budget is $250 at most, I want something that will be comfortable, noise canceling (this isn't a must), good sound, and will last longer than 4 months.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is for my iPhone!

I was looking at Wireless Bose Headphones

Also no beats, beats are known to break, have bad sound, and tbh they look ugly.

This whole headphones dying really sucks because i'm also saving up for my gaming laptop I posted a few days ago.

Go big or go home.
While not the same pair of headphones I have, theyre almost like a successor. My current pair has lasted almost 2 years now, and my previous set died a premature death at 1 year thanks to a Cat.

Sennheiser has some pretty nice headphones.

I probably should have mentioned these are for my iPhone.

Try something by Koss. They have lifetime warranty and even their less expensive headphones are generally pretty durable.

Maybe something like the PRODJ is up your alley, they have the iPhone controls too.

If you want something really cheapo, I've gotten really good sound from iHome headphones (not earbuds).

The ones on this page are different than the one I have, so I don't really know how they'll do in the comfort department.

+1 to these. http://www.ihomeaudio.com/iB50BC/
Looks comfortable, but it says out of stock. There's apparently three 'very good condition' used ones on amazon for ~$30

lol im using $30 modecom headphones and they are perfect for me

um are there headphones specifically made for iphones or something? because im pretty sure anything with a jack will work on something with a jack port...

I concur, Sennheiser is fantastic. I'm not sure what you mean by "these are for my iPhone" OP, do you mean you want them to be portable, or with controls built into the wire or what?

If you want something with great sound isolation, durability, and sound quality for ~$200, then I suggest Sennheiser HD25-1 ii's. I've had my pair for 9 months now, but I'm pretty sure they're gonna end up being a family heirloom lol.

i know you're looking for something that's really high end but i personally like the maxell AMPlifieds, they're like $20 at walmart and have some decent sound, a lot better than beats. they're also surprisingly durable, i have a track record of breaking every single one of my pairs of headphones and earbuds and these lasted the longest by far out of many much more expensive models.

I love when Setro reads.

I think you should maybe leave the topic.
