I've only seen local bans for it in casual and complete bans in Commander/EDH. Perfectly legal in Modern, Legacy, and Vintage.

Despite having Emrakul in my deck, I'm still yet to have ever put it on the battlefield. Just haven't yet had the luck to draw one of my two quicksilver amulets at the same time.

I mostly got him for the milling protection.
