Quick/Easy way to reduce video size

I was trying out Fraps on this system and the results were good. Except that it's a 5 minute video, 400x300 and its file size is around 800MBs. How can I reduce this to the 400MBs or lower?

Just throw the video into Windows Movie Maker and export it. The version doesn't matter.

Since fraps is made to record real time footage, it pretty much can't compress it.

I recorded 30 minutes of Black Mesa once on accident and it was over 50 gigabytes

Movie Maker doesn't always come with a windows PC.

If you mean all those software offers at download, just click custom download and decline the other stuff
