What you want to do is not fall off.

playing Tony Hawk underground trained me into being a professional skater it can probably help you too!

what i like to do is wrap myself in bubble wrap, sit on it, and go down a hill.

how about not crashing into a tree and dying?
Did I help?

What did you expect?

Make sure to put on your elbow and knee pads and advice everyone else to do the same.

If you don't want a broken richard, arm , nose, leg, face, rib or whole spine don't do tricks.
I usually use my board to cruise around or go to a friends house

go down declines for maximum thrill and roadrash

try not to land on your head or face

Go to a skate park with some friends if you wanna get in some good practice.

I haven't used a skateboard in a long time, but there's still some things I know (I also caster board, snowboard and inline skate, so that helps too). First off, keep your legs loose! Don't catch a bad case of stiff leg syndrome. Don't exaggerate it either, though - you'll fall off then too. Just keep in mind that your legs will, and always do, act as the most effective shock absorbers on a board or skates.

For skateboard, I don't really have anything else, but I've got tips for inline skating if you need them. ;)
