It is for him in terms of views and popularity
terms of views I can agree on, but popularity is another problem, if you sperate videos seasons across a span of 2 years and when you upload something that is a tutorial video.
you have to understand that he lost any popularity he had to begin or built up over the years.
regaing that sort of popularity you had would be the same as trying to pass a

off as a new game system to adults. It is sure hard to do but it can work on some ocasions but for the most part it won't work at all.
The subscribers there are not something to forget about but when you ignore those subscribers when you stop making videos for about a year 50% will tend to forget about you and either unsub or just forget too and the other 50% will hope and pray that you would make another one in dear time.
An example block eye studios still has 1,270 subs even though darkstar stopped uploading for about 3 years now.
So what I am trying to get at here is that it is for him in terms of views only at this point.
though I could be wrong but showing from time spans it could be that dark star doesn't care about popularity anymore
