Author Topic: have some questions about upgrading phone  (Read 437 times)

So I log on to T-Mobile today and see this:

(ignore the ugly ass phone I have)

I clicked upgrade and it gave me some choices to upgrade like a 5c, 5s, or an s4/s5. These were the full-fledged price of the phones. I have no clue how upgrades work since I've never done them.

1) let's say I want to upgrade to a s4, what advantages would I get with this?

2) will I get special offers or anything with it?

I felt this didn't belong in the "smarthpone" thread, sorry if it does.

smartphone thread?

pretty sure upgrading isnt free. you have to pay extra or the difference or both or even trade your phone in with all the above

not that, I just didn't know there was a smartphone thread

well I know that, I just want to get a non-stuff tier phone.

all the phones you listed are 100x better than your current phone
aka non stuff tier

should probably let your parents handle your phone contract n stuff. they ought to know how long you've had your phone, and how much longer you have until you get an upgrade, provided you can't get it already.

most contracts allow for free upgrades after one or two years (typically two years)
