Author Topic: Family pet snake just died...  (Read 2788 times)

a year? how did you let a pet die after a year of having it!?
...

Any ideas why he had  trouble? We've owned a few snakes and that's never happened to them before.
It may have been that he couldn't get it off by rubbing up against the objects he had in his aquarium. Really, though, I'm not sure why.

I think I have another, I'll find it later when I get to my computer.

For those of you who are wondering, I'm pretty sure he died do to not being able to properly shed his skin (this caused him to be constricted within it for far too long). I tried multiple times to help peel it off for him, but it's really hard to do on such a small and fragile snake.
Why didn't you take it to the vet? I mean like its not rocket science.

that's a cute snake. very sorry for your loss.

First of all, we only realized his health was fading that rapidly the day before. Secondly, my mom and dad don't have money to give to a vet who would most likely end up telling us that he would die anyway. He was a snake found outside in the grass; the only reason we were able to keep him in the first place was because there was no cost involved.

You condescending twat!
Your vet bills are stupidly high. And it's quite stereotypically American for someone to get a pet without being responsible with making sure you have enough money to take care of it.
Maybe if op was more responsible the snake wouldn't have been taken out of natural habitat and killed because of poor conditions. I'm sure if the snake was in the wild he would have been able to shed it's skin

When was that a stereotype? Could you link me to a instance where it was well know for Americans to not take care of their pets? Or are you that type of guy that just love to hate on America?

Hurrrr all muricans r dummm

I do believe it's well known that the American stereotype is an idiot who can't afford their healthcare, for themselves or a pet.

So you see that op cannot take care of his pet, then you automatically assume that all Americans are like that. I still don't understand why you even thought this thread was a good time to even bash America. You are a lame person and a rapscallion.

lol I was saying that it's a stereotype.
You're an idiot, trying find a good comeback argument since you know I'm right.
