so there are these kids at school who are all black and are obsessed with call of duty, skyrim, stuff like that. all my friends and i love old school games such as battlespire, pokemon (gold, leaf green), pacman, and warcraft (no, not world of warcraft). whenever we're out at the field running laps and chatting, these black kids walk up to us and start making fun of our taste in games. last friday, while talking with a friend, one of those friends walks up to me and says that the old elder scrolls games suck because they have horrible graphics. i told him that he has a horrible taste in video games and he proceeded to tell my math teacher about what i said to him. i told my teacher that he was actually the one who was being an ass (no, i didn't say the actual word). she then said that i would have a morning detention because i was telling "lies" and i insulted a special needs student (i'm not trying to start this whole special needs drama again). seriously, why the forget do graphics matter so much to people? is it like they'd rather spend hours staring at pretty pictures rather than actually playing the game itself?
