If you don't have verticle convergence on, give the target considerably more lead time if theyre far ahead.

Horizontal targeting means your guns line up on some vertical axis at the set distance (the one you can change to max 800m).
Vertical targeting does this vertically (adding a horizontal axis), thus making your hit area 1 exact point (the point where those 2 axles intersect) instead of a vertical line.
You hit less (your aim is more focussed), but if you do, it's usually more bullets that hit so more damage.

Really getting tired of spawning in, doing 3 minutes of climb to Baz and only to be sliced in loving half by one Russian cannon.
Like literally more than half the enemy team, or so it would seem are all historically inaccurate Russian planes. Like half the loving Russian airforce didn't even leave the runways in WWII, let alone see any actual combat.

Well, japan has the H6k4 which at tier 1, is a beast for loving up a fighters day. Also it can unlock 2 800lb bombs that insta-kill enemy bases so...
Yeah, also the speed. The loving speed of that bomber... Nothing, not even a PBY-Catalina can stand up to this thing. Its not even worth the spot of tier 1 its more like tier 2. Also japan is extremely good. I don't see why people hate/complain that Gaijin isn't giving them a boost. I've out maneuvered spits and LaGGs. Now that's something.
